Yoga Strong & Singing Bowls

This vinyasa style class builds to a peak pose that reflects the theme of the evening. It includes strength focused segments as well as moments that allow the breath to lead the way.

Tanya offers variations of poses so that you may take what best serves you in the moment. Her playful heart is also sure to shine through with the occasional silly joke that adds a giggle to the evening.

The last portion of the class is completed in a 20-minute Savasana with the support of the relaxing sounds of the Himalayan Singing Bowls.

Yoga Calm & Singing Bowls

An alignment based class that invites connection and space as we slow our bodies and find calm. This class welcomes both those who are new to the practice and those who have an established practice as we explore poses while standing, sitting, on hands and knees and while reclined. The creative theme of the class invites a new focus each week as we move through familiar favourite poses as well as varied movements.

The evening is completed with the peaceful sounds of the Himalayan Singing Bowls filling the historic Acadia Hall while all rest completely in their chosen supported Savasana.

Singing Bowl Meditation

An opportunity to gather in community for guided meditation and the relaxing Singing Bowls - always a nurturing way to spent the evening. 

These classes may include relaxation body scans, guided imagery meditations, breath practices, or small gentle movements while seated to settle into the evening. The heart of the class allows for the Himalayan Singing Bowls to support you in finding ease and calm.

Classes can be completed while laying on your yoga mat or even stretched out in your anti-gravity chair. Bringing your pillows, eye masks and blankets is always encouraged so that you may spoil yourself completely.

At Lower Sackville Yoga, we are a heart-centered yoga community that gathers to practice movement and meditation.
